Ballinamore Greenway

The Ballinamore Greenway is a walking and cycling route in the town of Ballinamore.

The route is a safe, traffic-free path for locals and visitors alike to enjoy the countryside and natural beauty of the area.

The current route offers 2.5km of safe segregated walkway and cycling route, with plans to extend this approximately 12 kilometers long and will run along the former Ballinamore to Ballyconnell railway line, which ceased operations in 1959.  When fully completed, the greenway will connect the towns of Ballinamore and Ballyconnell, passing through scenic areas such as the Arney River Valley and Drumlonan Woods.
