Derrycarne Wood is located on the shores of the mighty Shannon river in South Leitrim, just 3km northwest from the small riverside village of Drumod.  

The woodlands offers walkers the opportunity to hear a wide range of wetland birdsong as they take in a superb 2km loop walk.
